My employer has only paid me for 20 hours once since I started on December 3rd ( I work in Loss prevention) I have sent a letter and talked to the supervisor and he said he would talk to accounting I still am not being paid, I need to quit without 2 weeks notice even though i have 3 days left on my schedule. I feel as if im providing a service for FREE! I work full time at least 35 hours per week they owe me alot. at this point I just need to leave ASAP Please someone help me write a letter that says in the letter also the main reason im leaving is because Im not being paid and it has caused me to -get my cell phone cancelled, ge bad credit and so much more THANK YOU all

- first i would just throw my ish down and quit... but that's just me. You need to contact labor standards and get your back wages. My letter? I quit ****heads!
- There is no need to write a letter: simply tell your manager that you've decided to pursue other opportunities. You can bill the company for your unpaid work later. By the way, it's good business etiquette to give 2 weeks' notice, but you are never required to do so. Good luck, Dave at Hired Fast Network, LLC
- HAVE YOU asked again, ? write a letter and an email and say you expect to be paid "x' amount within the next 5days or you will have to choice but to leave and take legal action. if you are in uk go citizens advice.
- If you are not being paid for your work, you need to contact the government agency that oversees employment law in the state/province/country you are working in. If you are in a work at will position (if in the US most positions are) then you can quit, or be fired for any reason or no reason at all and without notice. Professional courtesy says a 2 week notice is preferable, but if you aren't being paid for your work they aren't being professional. You can also contact an attorney who specializes in employment law where you work and talk to them about recourse if you don't get any relief elsewhere.
- I hear a couple of issues in what you've told: 1. 20 hours pay for several weeks of work, sounds like you're not completely informed on pay policies, schedules, etc. 2. Do you have pay stubs? Take those to your Wage and Hour division of the Department of Labor. If you're not paid for hours worked, you need to bring that to the attention of the proper authorities and let them do the research and work for you. 3. Quitting will not necessarily solve your problem, and it could hurt you in the long run. If you have not gotten resolution to your pay issue through talking to the Supervisor, go over that person's head. 4. Cell phones don't get cancelled in one month- this sounds like a deeper issue regarding the handling of money. 5. GE Bad Credit, also doesn't happen in one 30-day period. Is there a pattern forming here?
