how can i make my resignation letter flow better? help please?

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I will be leaving my position with ABC effective February 3, 2010. I will be relocating to El Paso, TX where my family is currently locate. I am very sorry and sadden that my transfer request to ELP was disapprove. I will re-apply once again at ELP if a position becomes available. I have appreciated been part of ABC and the opportunities that been provided to me.

1. I regret to inform you that I must tender my resignation, effective February 3, 2010. I am relocating to the El Paso, TX area to be closer to my family. I have enjoyed my time working with you, and with ABC Corporation, and would definitely consider a position at the ELP division should one become available. I have learned much during my time here and I will miss being part of the great ABC team.
